Erica Garcia Badaracco (she/her)

Erica grew up in Argentina and later moved to San Diego for community college. After two years, she transferred to UC Berkeley, where she earnt her undergraduate degree in Physics. She is now studying plasma instabilities and the energy loss mechanisms in ICF. She is also collaborating with Dr. Joseph Ralph at LLNL to estimate cross beam energy transfer (CBET) as a function of time. Her ideal weekend includes either surfing, a game of badminton, or a nice hike. If there's camping and mate involved, even better!
